Happy Halloween!!!

In the spirit of halloween, I found two amazing pumpkin carvings. The first one is from The Nightmare Before Christmas and the second is and Indian chief. Happy Halloween and eat lots of candy!

Cereal Box

My froot loops cereal box that I fixed up in Adobe Illustrator. I traced the original shapes with the pen tool and later filled them in with their original color. My favorite part was redoing the cereal and the bowl, I changed the original color which was white to blue. I did that so that the milk in the bowl could be more distinctive. It was a lot of fun and this is my finished product!

Magnolia

This is a flower doodle that I did partially in class and the rest at home. It's not a magnolia of course but I like to call it that because it reminds me of a friend named Magnolia. I had my sketchbook and grabbed my pencil to start doodling. I have a habit of doing that when I get bored XD

Foxy Wolf

My foxy wolf I drew a while back. I wanted a cartoon animated wolf but he sorta turned out looking like a fox too and everyone I asked agreed so he became foxy wolf. I used my shading pencils I have to do his fur and my eyes are my favorite part, it makes him just adorable. Foxy Wolf still needs a name though (:

Self Portrait

With Photoshop, the tools are a tad more complicated than Illustrator. Illustrator is easier to get a grasp of when using it and you can find your way around it when you start out not knowing anything about it. In photoshop, you most likely need a teacher to help you. Rastor graphics are composed with graphics and vector graphics are composed with paths. I learned to use the pen tool and whart it did was create shapes on my face to fill later with different colors. My favorite part about this assignment was when I got to fill my face with the color and could see how many different shades my face had. It looked better than I thought it would. My least favorite part was making the shapes because it was time consuming and you had to be precise or you would have gaps in your face. If I was given this assignment again, I think I’d do a lot better because I’ve done it once and now I know that I can improve my shapes and add more details to make the face look more appealing.

Bajoula

While playing around in adobe photoshop, I created a little piece that someone else named Bajoula. I used the paint brush and a shadowing tool to create it. And ta da! The vibrant colors are my favorite part about the piece.

Taylor's Mosiac

I created a mosiac of my face using Adobe Illustrator and this is my finished product.
